How to get here?
Madrid Barajas Airport is known to be the Spain’s busiest airport. It is the main passage to Spain from around the world. The rail route connects Madrid to Barcelona, Seville and other major cities and laces of Spain. Madrid has a successful metro service, which will take you around the city. You can opt for buses or road drives if you please. The place is well developed in terms of transportation.
Where to stay?
Stay is not an issue here, as the place is so well developed that you will find large number of options here. While you are in Madrid you can book a hotel or rent an apartment, if you are comfortable you can look for a home stay as well which is cheap as compared to the rest two. Meninas and Posada Del Dragon are two 4 star properties, and the Westin palace is a five star hotel. You can however look for other options which best suits you.
Places to visit?
There are a lot of museums here in Madrid, the Golden Triangle art, is a three museum collection which is along side of Paseo del Prado. The other two famous museums are the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, and the Reina Sofía Museum which are a must visit while in Madrid. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and the Royal Palace of Madrid should not be missed on the trip t Madrid.
Madrid is home to many Catholic churches, which must be visited. The oldest church, which still stands erect, is the San Nicolás de los Servitas.
